The CAD Technician will be responsible for using CAD equipment to provide support to the Engineer by preparing Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, system arrangements including pipe routing, and detail drawings.

The CAD Technician will be responsible for using CAD equipment to provide support to the Engineer by preparing Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, system arrangements including pipe routing, and detail drawings.

Job Requirements

3 – 5 years of experience in mechanical design or mechanical shop settings.
Experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Experience in Autodesk Plant3D is a plus.
Knows how to read and interpret P&ID and General Arrangement drawings

Education

Associate’s Degree or Certificate in drafting from two years of college or technical school, or equivalent experience.
